Meghan Dempsey, MS, ADTR, LCAT, CMA

Why do we move to music? What is in the music that moves us?  What is our body telling us about how we feel the music?  In this experiential, we will look at the relationship between music and movement.  Using a variety of music choices we will explore the effects of music on one’s movement experience.  The concept of entrainment and its theoretical foundations will be introduced as a scientific model through which we can begin understanding this intrinsic connection.

There will be examples of this process shown on a reel at the expo as well as an experiential offered to interested attendees. Green screening when used in a clinical setting can offer clients a second chance to relive life experiences or create new ones in front of virtual moving backgrounds.
